To follow this guide, please make sure you have downloaded the IBM SPSS 25 installer using the instructions here. 

You will need to be an administrator on the computer you are using to install IBM SPSS

 

Navigate to the downloaded installer file on your computer. Right-click the file and choose Run as Administrator.

 

 

After the installer loads, click Next.

 

 

You will need to accept the license agreement. Click Next.

 

 

Choose if you want to install Essentials for Python. Click Next.

 

 

If you choose to install Essentials for Python, you will need to accept the license agreements. Click Next.

 

 

 

Choose the installation location. Click Next.

 

 

Click Install to start the installation. 

 

 

After installation is complete, make sure the option 'Start SPSS Statistics 25 License Authorisation Wizard Now' is selected and click Finish.

 

 

The License Authorisation Wizard will start. Select Authorized User License and click Next.

 

 

To access the license code, follow the instructions here. Enter the code and click Next. 

 

 

After the code is authorised, click Next.

 

 

Click Finish to close the License Authorisation Wizard.

 

The installation and licensing is complete.
