Most documents can be saved as a PDF. For example in word you can save a document as a PDF by selecting Save As > This PC > More Options. Then select PDF or Adobe PDF from the "Save as type:" drop down menu. 

 

 

Or you may find that there is a "Save as Adobe PDF" option available next to the Save As.
