    [IT Services] Downloading Office 365 Joshua Thompson created Downloading Office 365  As part of our education subscription, all staff and students are entitled to download 5 free copies of Office 2016 for each device type (5 per PC/Mac, 5 per tablet & 5 per smartphone). Devices include: Windows Desktops and Laptops Apple Desktops and MacBook Android, iOS and Windows phones/tablets To install this, please see the below instructions for assistance:   1. Log into your student Office 365 webmail using the below link: https://www.outlook.com/uos.ac.uk You will need to sign in to webmail by using your student number followed by @uos.ac.uk and your standard University of Suffolk password. 2. Once you have logged in you will need to click the 'Office 365' button in the top left hand corner of the screen.   3. This will take you through to the below screen. From here you need to select "Install Office apps" and choose "Office 2016" from the drop down menu.   4. This will download your free copy of Office 365. Once installation is complete, you will simply need to launch one of the programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at which point you will be asked to activate your product, you can do this by selecting 'Use your Microsoft Account' and sign in using your University credentials (Remember to add @uos.ac.uk at the end of your staff number) Once done, all programs will now be licensed and ready to use. This process is the same if you are using a Mac.To download on a mobile device, simply navigate to the respective app store and download the required Office Applications, please note you can only use the following: Word PowerPoint Excel OneNote OneDrive Once downloaded open the application click ‘Sign in’ and sign in using your University credentials (same as your email login).  If you have any issues accessing your webmail or downloading your free copy of Office 365, please feel free to get in touch with the IT Service Desk.
