This was set-up on the latest version of Outlook on iOS11

1. Search for Outlook in the app store. Make sure you choose to install Microsoft Outlook (look for Microsoft Corporation as the app developer). 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Open the App and press Get Started

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. You may be prompted to enable notifications. Choose as appropriate:


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Enter your email address as your staff number followed by @uos.ac.uk (e.g. e1234567@uos.ac.uk) and press CONTINUE

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. You’ll be re-directed to the University of Suffolk Office 365 login in page. Enter your password (it’s the same password you use for MySuffolk). Press Sign in

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

6. You’ll receive confirmation that the account has been added. If you’re prompted to add another account, choose SKIP for now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Swipe through or SKIP any welcome screens. The app will open. It may take a few moments for your emails and calendar to synchronize.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. After adding your account, you can press the 3 lines in the top left hand corner and then the cog icon, to manage your preferences. For example, you may wish to turn off Focused Inbox or change your notification settings.
